R.B.I. Pittsburgh Program - Reviving Baseball in the Inner-City

R.B.I. Pittsburgh is dedicated to enhancing youth interest and participation in baseball and softball with particular emphasis on disadvantaged children. R.B.I. uses baseball, softball, and the power of teamwork to provide inner-city youth with opportunities to play, to learn and to grow, inspiring them to recognize their potential.

This is facilitated through:

  •     Pony League Baseball

  •     Colt Baseball

  •     Super Colt Baseball

  •     Fast-Pitch Girls Softball

  •     Slow-Pitch Girls Softball

  •     Rookie Ball

More than 20 teams serve approximately 300 youth annually.

In addition, R.B.I. Pittsburgh serves the community by:

  •     Conducting off season skill development clinics for boys and girls

  •     Conducting coaches training clinics

  •     Connecting participants to a variety of other youth services

  •     Operating the Pirates Community Center, an indoor practice facility open year round

R.B.I. Pittsburgh is a service of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania and is conducted in partnership with the Pittsburgh Pirates Charities.
