As Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania formally welcomes Somerset County, The Georgian Place Clubhouse, as our seventeenth location, we invite you to celebrate the grand re-opening of our newest stand-alone location!

Located at 117 Georgian Place in Somerset, our newest stand alone Clubhouse is in the heart of a charming shopping and office condo village with outlets, specialty shops, medical offices and dining.

To officially rededicate the former Somerset County Boys & Girls Club and The Georgian Place Clubhouse as part of the BGCWPA family, we will be holding a special rededication event on Thursday, October 22nd from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. The event will feature a program including addresses from PA State Rep. Carl Walker Metzgar, Clubhouse Director Angela Miller, President & CEO Dr. Lisa Abel Palmieri and Police Chief Cox.

Due to COVID-19 gathering restrictions, in-person attendance will be limited, but the event will be broadcasted on Facebook live for all of our youth members, families, board members, and community to join in on the first steps of expanding our reach to thousands more youth & teens throughout Somerset County.

Registration is officially open for our Somerset County after school program, from 3:00-6:00 PM daily following the school day, for youth to receive a snack, homework help, enrichment activities, and physical exercise. BGCWPA is eager to bring our credited STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), Academic Support, Art, Recreation and Sports, Career Development, and Healthy Lifestyles programs to the youth of Somerset County!

Welcome to the BGCWPA family, Somerset County!
