From our BGCWPA family to yours this holiday season,

This holiday season we want to encourage families to reflect on the positives of the year and remember what you are thankful for. Here at BGCWPA we are thankful for all of our families, staff, partners, and communities that allow us to serve our mission to do “whatever it takes.” Together we activate and advance the potential in all youth.

Safety is our #1 priority here at Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania. This is why BGCWPA would like to remind families to practice safety over the holiday season and to follow all COVID-19 guidelines as provided by the CDC and state of Pennsylvania.

We encourage families to practice 6 feet of social distancing in group settings, mask wearing at all times, hand washing (20 sec) and hand sanitizing, watch for signs of illness, keep kids home if they display signs of illness until they are symptom free for at least 24 hours, and to self quarantine if you travel to one of the hot spots identified by Governor Wolf throughout the holidays for at least 14 days. Governor Wolf recently implemented additional guidance for returning to PA once you have left the state. Continue to monitor that guidance and follow all of the recommendations. This guidance per the CDC, the county, and the state allows all of use to do our part to protect one another.

If you or your loved ones test positive for COVID-19 please seek a negative covid test and remain self quarantined for 14 days before returning to BGCWPA.

As always, thank you for your patience, understanding and commitment to keeping our Clubhouse members, staff and families safe! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to our admin offices at 412-782-5710 or contact@bgcwpa.org

We wish you all a safe and happy holiday season!
