December 11, 2020
Attention all BGCWPA families:
We hope you are well and staying safe and healthy. As COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Pennsylvania, Governor Tom Wolf announced that new restrictions will be placed on all K-12 school and youth sports, directly affecting BGCWPA sports programming:
“All sports at K-12 public schools, nonpublic schools, private schools and club, travel, recreational, intermural, and intramural sports are paused.”
The newest, temporary COVID-19 mitigation efforts take effect at 12:01 A.M. on December 12, and remain in effect until 8 A.M. on January 4, 2021.
During this time, all BGCWPA sports programs will be postponed until at least January 11th. We will communicate with you the week of January 4th regarding reopening our sports & recreation programs.
With the guidance from the CDC, OCDEL, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America we will continue to monitor all of the guidance and updates and implement the recommendations into our daily practices. BGCWPA will continue to communicate with families and staff as additional communications warrant.
At this time, the earliest any BGCWPA sports programming will resume is January 11, 2020.
Please send an email to email@example.com with any immediate questions.
If you wish to receive a partial refund for the time that sports programming will be suspended, please click here.
BGCWPA wishes you and your family good health and a happy holiday season as we work to ensure the safety of all members and staff who participate in our programs. We greatly value your support and patience in these challenging times.
