The Champion of Youth Award is an annual award given to the organization, corporate partner, community partner or individual who has lived our BGCWPA mission over the last year more than anyone else. This Champion is recognized at the annual gala as an example of how the community and BGCWPA can work together to serve more local youth with quality programming. On Wednesday, August 5th, over 120 participants joined special guest Smokey Robinson for a virtual celebration of BGCWPA's youth! We would like to take this time to say THANK YOU to all who offered their time, passion and generosity to help raise over $175,000!!!!!!!! That's a record!!!! Event Highlights: Participants were delivered Common Plea Catering charcuterie boards and Smokey Robinson wines right to their doorsteps to enjoy during the event! Meet Kaiden, one of our Club on the Go participants! Kaiden wants to see more stained glass windows in his neighborhood, so he used his Club on the Go art kits to make some! Great job, Kaiden! This summer over 425 individual youth and over 180 families have officially received deliveries right to their doorsteps, free of charge, to keep youth engaged mentally, physically, and emotionally while at home throughout the Summer months.
