At Boys & Girls Clubs, we offer three models of service: stand alone Clubhouses in 11+ communities where we offer our traditional after school programming, sports & recreation programs and specialty arts/STEM programs. The second type of service we offer is our workforce development programming which takes place in our Clubhouses, community partner sites and stand-alone Career Works Center in the Mon Valley with plans to open a second site soon. Our third model of service is “pushing-in” or partnering with other after school programs and school districts/schools. We currently offer programming in 6 school districts during the day hours. In the summer, we offer day-long summer camp programs in eight locations and we manage the RBI Program for the Pittsburgh Pirates and closely collaborate with juvenile justice officials placing young people in our Great Start program.
Our programs & services ensure youth are prepared academically, emotionally and experientially to move into post secondary education, productive employment and active citizenship. We care about the local community and want to ensure our kids and families have the best opportunities for success therefore we offer a wide range of programs to help each and every child who walks through our doors.
