Summer Day Camp FAQ’S

Can youth choose their own activities?

Our traditional summer day camp weeks are thematic with activities aligning with that week’s theme. The youth rotate through a multitude of locations within our facilities. The focus in our Clubhouses is STEM, literacy, recreation, character building, and fun. We encourage our Campers to participate in all of the rotations. We also offer specialty camps and teen programming in additional to our traditional summer day camp that allows for even more personalization.

Will my child be grouped with his/her own age group?

The Summer Day Camp program does group children by age; our speciality camps may mix ages (as appropriate). We do this to plan developmentally appropriate activities that fit the age of your child.

Should my child pack a lunch?

Breakfast, Lunch, and a snack will be provided to all Summer Camp participants daily, however Campers are allowed to bring lunch if they chose. A posted menu will be provided to each camper. If a dietary supplement is needed, please speak with the Clubhouse Director.

What Should my Child Wear to Summer Camp?

Your child should dress for the weather and label all of their belongings to include, sunscreen, backpack, water bottle, hat, and extra set of clothing. Please refrain from sending your child in flip-flops due to the lack of foot support.  Some of our activities require gross motor play. Sneakers are preferred.
