Welcome to BGCWPA Summer Camp, “where there will be no worries.” Focus on the outdoors, exploring nature, and the health benefits of outdoor activity. Actively engage in different outdoor activities like nature walks, gardening, and nature & wildlife identification. There is so much out there to explore!

Time to put on your thinking cap! Use your imagination to explore your natural curiosity. A project based approach to develop critical thinking, problem-solving and other 21st-century skills. What will you imagine and create?

A week to express yourself, art shapes our world! Youth will have the opportunity to draw, paint, sculpt, etc. while utilizing art as a positive past time with emotional benefits including increased self-esteem, relaxation, and a sense of accomplishment. What is your masterpiece?

Get your head in the game! Focus on sports and fitness with the opportunity to learn the fundamentals, practice your favorite sport, or try out something new. This week will help foster not only fitness, but a positive use of leisure time and sportsmanship. Are you ready to play?

All the ingredients to a great week! Learn basic cooking techniques, food safety, and the value of nutrition with hands-on instruction and an opportunity to make some of your favorite meals. Bon Appetit!

“It’s a bird, it’s a plane…it’s you!” Real Superheroes don’t always wear capes, they are those in our lives that lead by example, inspire us, and hold a special place in our hearts. Who is your real-life super hero – a parent, mentor, coach, teacher, friend, even you? Whatever it takes!

Your voice counts! Opportunity to participate and present performing arts like theater, acting, dancing, poetry, and music as well as what goes on behind the scenes. Develop a healthy appreciation for culture and the arts along with self-confidence and creativity. “Lights, camera, action!”

Go for Gold! Learn who’s carrying the torch. Work as a team to show off your skills, abilities, and talents. Teamwork makes the dream work! It is not about the outcome but the journey.
